Is Freedom Fleet operating yet?
Not yet — the company is in formation. The legal structure is underway now, and the fleet launches once Tesla opens Cybercab sales. This phase is about being first in line with everything ready.
How is the fleet funded?
The plan is a practical capital stack: veteran business loans and grant-funded transportation contracts. The company is veteran-owned and stays that way — no outside investors.
Why partner with nonprofits as a for-profit company?
Some transportation grants only go to nonprofits. Our nonprofit partners win those grants and contract Freedom Fleet to provide the rides. They bring the grant eligibility, we bring the service. Partners never own or operate the fleet.
Who will the fleet serve?
Veterans and local residents in San Antonio, anchored on the Audie L. Murphy VA hospital and everyday destinations — medical appointments, work, groceries, and the trips daily life depends on.
